About McFarlane's
Since we opened our doors in 2004 we have gone from strength to strength. Twenty years later we now have 5 high street offices covering the local area and a highly experienced team who are on hand to look after your property requirements and ensure your home moving experience is as stress free as possible. It has been and always will be our aim to provide a first class service with honesty and integrity.
Our story
McFarlane’s opened in 2004 initially specialising in residential lettings and property management. During the first few years property investment was the big thing and Buy to Let landlords were coming on to the scene in significant numbers. This did slowdown somewhat following the financial crash of 2008.
In 2010 we started offering a residential sales service alongside our lettings and property management service. This was shortly followed by our move into our head office in Old Town. In 2012 we opened the doors to our Cricklade office.
2017 brought our first acquisition when we completed on the takeover of a local residential sales and lettings agent and integrated them into the McFarlane name. The following year we completed on the acquistion of an established sales and lettings agent in Marlborough and opened our third office.
Several more acquisitions followed over the next few years and in 2020 we opened our new office on the Marlborough high street. The following year we opened our fourth office in North Swindon. In 2023 we agreed the lease on a new office in the heart of Cirencester and we are now looking forward to what the next few years will bring.
Our community
The team at McFarlane are very active in supporting the local community. This is something we feel strongly about and believe it is important to give back to the community from which we belong. Over the years we have sponsored a number of youth sports teams and regularly run competitions involving the local schools.
We are currently sponsoring a local cricket team and have recently sponsored a local music festival and literary festival, we have also been involved in the Open Doors event and have held Macmillan coffee mornings.
We are one of the founding member of a local business networking group and each year we pay for local disadvantaged children to attend popular events through Circus Starr.
